British  Weta  Class Association

The Disabled Sailing Association was quick to see the potential of the Weta as a disabled sailing boat and became the first owner of a fleet of Wetas in the UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9sz277VrWg&feature=related (video) .  It keeps some of these boats at its centre at Mar Menor in Spain.

Various adaptations are available including power steering and a central seat. In this configuration the boat is known as the Weta GT.  True to the Grand Touring tradition, the chairman of the DSA recently towed his Weta to and from Georgia for a lake sailing holiday.
